An Empirical Study of Indian Express Charge Cards and Credit Cards Abstract This study examines the impact of reward point programmers on the purchasing behavior of Indian credit card users from the customer involvement perspective. An online survey of Indian credit card users yielded 125 valid responses. Findings from the study show that customer involvement is not only low, but it also has no impact on customer retention and satisfaction (frequency of card use and usage expenditure). Use of credit cards frequently and in large numbers had a positive impact on redemption behavior.
