Study on Causes and Effect of Alcoholism among Youths Abstract Drinking alcohol while you're young has a lot of negative effects. However, research on alcohol use among Ghanaian adolescents in general, and Zongo Community youths in Wa Municipality in Ghana's Upper West Region in particular, seem to be lacking. This study aims to fill that gap by examining the impacts of alcoholism on the young of the Zongo Community in Wa, Ghana's Upper West Region. From the Wa Municipality, the youngsters from Zongo Community were chosen. The sample was made up of 100 people who were chosen at random. Males, on the other hand, drink more alcohol than females, according to the research. Peer pressure, a family history of alcoholism, and stress were all identified as significant factors in adolescent drinking in the Wa Municipality's Zongo Community.
