MBA Operations Project on Production Planning in India Abstract The goal of this research is to determine the necessity for and significance of PPC (Production Planning and Control) in the manufacturing sector. Material coordination with suppliers, effective use of personnel and equipment, efficient material flow, and communication with customers are all goals of production planning. Materials Planning, Purchasing, Raw Material,Inventory Control, Capacity Planning, Scheduling Machine and People, WIP Inventory Control, Coordinate Customer Orders, and Finished Goods Inventory Control are all supported by Production Planning and Control. Production planning and control helps in a variety of ways, including maximising capacity, controlling inventory, ensuring quality, and reducing production time.
