Impact of Employee Performance Appraisal on the Achievement Abstract The purpose of the research was to evaluate the efficacy of the Ghana Health Service's Staff Performance Appraisal System, using Manhyia District Hospital as a case study. The study's specific goals include measuring workers' knowledge of the evaluation system's objectives, methodology, and procedures. In addition, the research assesses workers' perceptions of the evaluation system, how well it has identified employees' strengths and weaknesses, and if all stated goals have been met. The research population consisted of the whole personnel of Manhyia District Hospital, which numbered 221. The researcher utilized a sample size of 52% and collected data via an eleven-sectioned self-completion questionnaire and interviews.
