Assessment of Role Stress Amongst the Employees of Organization ABSTRACT The current research looks at organisational environment, organisational role stress, and work satisfaction among employees. The study's participants include 120 workers from various companies in Mumbai. They were evaluated using Pareek's Motivational Analysis of Organizations – Climate (MAO-C), Pareek's Organizational Role Stress Scale (ORSS), and Specter's Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS). The data was analysed using descriptive statistics (Mean and SD) and the t-test. An independent sample t-test showed a significant difference in organisational role stress, t (118) = 1.68, p.05, and work satisfaction, t (118) = 11.96, p.05, comparing employees with a favorable and unfavorable organisational environment.
