Assessment of Role Stress Amongst the Employees of Organization
ABSTRACT
The current research looks at organisational environment, organisational role stress, and work satisfaction among employees. The study's participants include 120 workers from various companies in Mumbai. They were evaluated using Pareek's Motivational Analysis of Organizations – Climate (MAO-C), Pareek's Organizational Role Stress Scale (ORSS), and Specter's Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS). The data was analysed using descriptive statistics (Mean and SD) and the t-test. An independent sample t-test showed a significant difference in organisational role stress, t (118) = 1.68, p.05, and work satisfaction, t (118) = 11.96, p.05, comparing employees with a favorable and unfavorable organisational environment.

Employees with a positive organisational environment rated lower on organisational role stress and higher on work satisfaction than employees with a negative organisational climate. These patterns indicate that organisational climate has an effect on organisational role stress and job satisfaction, allowing companies to recognize the importance of a positive organisational climate at the workplace.
INTRODUCTION
The increasing importance put on understanding workers and their behavior inside the company has generated a lot of interest in researching employee perceptions of climate within the organization (Riggle, 2007). Early researchers hypothesized that the social climate or atmosphere created in the workplace had a significant impact on employees perceptions of the work context and influenced the extent to which people were satisfied and performed to their potential, which was predicted to influence organizational productivity.

Work climates in organizations are a collection of common beliefs about the policies, practices, and procedures that a company rewards, supports, and expects. Organizational climate measures human views or emotions about an organization and aids in determining organizational role stress levels among its workers.
CONCLUSION
According to the results of this study's data analysis, there is a significant difference between organizational role stress and job satisfaction among employees with a favorable organizational climate resulting in low organizational role stress and high job satisfaction and an unfavorable organizational climate resulting in high organizational role stress and low job satisfaction.
