Abstract
People are obsessed with their appearance in this competitive era. People, especially young people, used many products to improve their appearance. Traditionally, only females were concerned about their appearance, but today, both male and female consumers are. This trend has given manufacturers a huge opportunity to produce and sell such products. Shampoo is a popular product from the last two decades. These products were advertised even in remote areas of the country.
Introduction
Consumer habits are rapidly evolving. These new and modern products have been well received by Indian consumers. Consumers' behavior changed with the changing psyche, lifestyle, income, and education. Globalization, modernization of society, and the hallow effect have all influenced consumer behavior. Consumers drive all economic activities.
Conclusion
The study found that most males (64%) prefer Head & Shoulders while most females (26%) prefer Clinic Plus. Other brands of shampoo are also sold in the city, but the liking rate is lower: 22% for Sun silk, 15% for Dove, and 12% for Pantene. Female Sagar consumers are more brand agnostic than male Sagar consumers.
