Introduction
Patient happiness is a complex and multidimensional concept in contemporary medicine. It denotes the degree to which a patient's real healthcare experience corresponds to one's subjective criteria. As patients are important stakeholders in the ever-changing world of medicine, recognizing and evaluating patient complaints is critical for improvement, increased use of health services, and policy reformation. According to one study, higher levels of satisfaction are linked with greater loyalty to doctors and treatment adherence.

Patient satisfaction measures have clearly grown in prominence as an essential quality indicator for health care. A number of aspects of patient satisfaction have been emphasized. It includes provider characteristics (staff competency, responsiveness, interpersonal skills, communication behavior) as well as facility characteristics (physical environment, facility type and level, availability of technical instruments, institutional reputation) and patient-related factors (gender, age, race, socioeconomic condition, health status, trust, perception about the institution and expectation regarding services).
Conclusion
Regardless of patient demographics, kind of therapy received, department where treatment was sought, or regions of spending, the overall cost of care was considerably greater in private hospitals than in public hospitals. The degree of satisfaction was inversely associated with hospital spending and positively correlated with the length of stay in a public hospital. Attending private health facilities, on the other hand, was linked with a substantial degree of satisfaction. Finally, additional undiscovered variables that may explain the amount of patient happiness in various health-care settings deserve further investigation.
