Abstract
This paper is a real case study and examination of the technical and energy management elements of suggested designs for steel plant production lines in Jordan. The author proposes a contemporary control system structure based on SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) technology. Furthermore, the factory's mechanical and electrical maintenance sections were examined owing to their significant impact on the factory's production costs and energy usage. This research was divided into two parts: The first part includes the data gathered and process evaluations conducted via conventional direct observation and activity categorization, while the second step detailed the suggested control technique in terms of design and architecture.

Introduction
The focus has clearly shifted over the years from Breakdown Maintenance, i.e. repairing the equipment after it malfunctions, to Preventive Maintenance, i.e. fixing the equipment according to a planned maintenance schedule, to maintain an efficiently operating unit and avoid failure of critical equipment, especially modern steel industry equipment. Conclusion
The use of experimental design techniques to build up a series of experimental heating procedures that can subsequently be used to determine scrap thermophysical characteristics has been suggested. However, each experiment would have to be performed many times due to variations in process parameters and changes in scrap quality. Depending on the number of scrap grades utilised, the number of trials required to get estimates for all scrap classes may be extremely large, making this method inappropriate. Extraction of huge amounts of data from process databases [3] is an alternative to planned tests. The combined impact of scrap mix and process conditions on end conditions, chemical analysis of liquid steel, energy consumption, and metal yield may then be analysed using advanced statistical techniques.
