A Study on Awareness and Expectations of Industrial Entities
Abstract
The primary aim of this article is to investigate a novel method for measuring the degree or percentage of sustainability consciousness in industrial companies. This evaluation was carried out via in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, and the assessment methodology was established in theoretical terms before being tested in one small and medium-sized industrial organisation. The developed questionnaire will be sent to stakeholders, and the resulting data will be evaluated and debated both individually and collectively.
A real-world case study will be utilized to demonstrate the suggested method of measuring the degree of awareness, and the new assessment method may be used as a template to evaluate the present level of awareness in industrial companies. The findings indicate that stakeholder knowledge of sustainability varies.
Introduction
The importance of sustainability consciousness may be assessed by the recognition of the use of information and facts. This value includes a range of methods for determining how, why, and to what extent stakeholders comprehend the idea of sustainability and its aspects. While industrialists understand the word "sustainability," it has proven difficult to apply in society. This often adds to the ambiguity around the term "sustainability."
As a result, there is a significant gap in public and industry knowledge, and the implementation of sustainable development requires the involvement of everyone in the community. It is not possible without the participation of not only popular and effective people who are aware of how their daily activities and tasks, but also the meaning of sustainability and how to apply it in.
Conclusion
This paper was used to estimate and measure the level of sustainability awareness in industrial organisations as a whole, including all stakeholders. Through these stakeholders, the notion of awareness was defined, and the suggested awareness measurement method was presented and analysed individually and aggregated based on a specifically developed questionnaire survey for each stakeholder.
Because sustainability means meeting the needs of the present without jeopardizing future generations ability, the three dimensions/pillars of sustainability economy, society, and environment, as well as general sustainability concepts, are studied and investigated to determine the degree of importance and/or acceptance of them in these industrial organisations.
