Abstract
Last year, consumer behavior and decision-making processes gained in importance in the marketing world, and have become a hot topic in the marketing world. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the marketing factors that influence consumer behavior and purchasing decisions. Customer decision making shows how well an organization's marketing strategy matches market demand. Customers' psychological processes in understanding their needs are included as part of consumer behavior.
Introduction
Management's understanding of consumer behavior is critical to an organization's ability to achieve commercial success (Kotler and Caslione, 2009). Customers play three different roles, such as users, payers and purchasers. Even experts in the field struggle to predict consumer behavior, according to studies (Armstrong & Scott, 1991). Customer decision making shows how well an organization's marketing strategy fits the marketing demand. Customers' psychological processes in understanding their needs are included as part of their behavior.
Conclusion
It is the process by which consumers select, purchase, and use products or services to meet their needs and wants. Consumer purchasing behavior involves a variety of different processes. A consumer's first step is to figure out which products they want to consume, and then they limit their choices to those that are more effective. After selecting products, buyers determine how much money they have available to spend.
