Building a Sustainable Customer Relationship in an Organization
Building a Sustainable Customer Relationship in an Organization
Introduction
Companies are increasingly focusing on customer relationship management because it explicitly recognizes the long-term value of potential and current customers and seeks to increase revenues, profits, and shareholder value through targeted marketing activities aimed at developing, maintaining, and enhancing successful company-customer relationships. The actions involved in customer relationship development need a thorough knowledge of the underlying sources of value that the business both receives from and provides to consumers.
While maintaining customer loyalty has long been a sales and marketing concept, Customer Relationship is a huge step forward in developing a system that can offer a method of retaining individual loyalty in a world of about 6 billion people. According to Greenberg (2001), in order to understand how to establish a lasting customer connection, you must also comprehend the changing character of the customer, since consumers are no longer what they used to be. According to Khalifa and Liu (2001), the Data Warehouse Institute performed a study of more than 1,600 companies and IT experts and discovered that some of the respondents had different ways of maintaining client relationships.
THE STUDY'S OBJECTIVES
The following are the study's objectives:
1. Investigate methods for establishing long-term client relationships in a company.
2. To determine the impact of long-term client relationships in a company.
3. To identify the variables that influence an organization's long-term client relationships.
STUDY OF LIMITATIONS
1. Financial constraint- Inadequate funds tend to hinder the researcher's efficiency in locating relevant materials, literature, or information, as well as in the data collecting procedure (internet, questionnaire and interview).
2. Time constraint- The researcher will conduct this investigation alongside other academic activities. As a result, the amount of time spent on research will be reduced.
