Over 70 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP) of the European Union, the United States, and other developed countries came from the service industry. Employment in the service sector also shows the same results. Moreover, manufacturing and agriculture employment is expected to continue shrinking, while new jobs are expected to be created in a variety of service-related industries.
