The goal of this study is to investigate the performance appraisal techniques used in an organisation, to assess the usefulness of a performance appraisal programme in an organisation, to identify the various environmental variables influencing performance appraisal programmes in an organisation, to identify the pitfalls associated with performance appraisal exercises, and to provide solutions to these problems.

Data was gathered and evaluated from primary and secondary sources throughout the course of this research. The survey design was used by the researcher. According to the findings, employee participation in appraisal exercises and the use of performance appraisal resulted in an increase in output to the organisation and a higher standard of living for the employee as a result of promotion and other necessary rewards that motivated the employee to work hard.

The Study's Objective

Conclusion

The researcher was able to determine at the conclusion of this project work that the issue with the company's evaluation system is with implementation rather than approach. As a result, since the goal of the study is not to propose a completely new technique, but rather to improve the connection between the already employed method and its goals, the researcher's conclusion is summed up in the term.
