Manpower training and development are critical to an organization's existence and sustainability. It is typical for individuals to confuse training with development. They are not, however, the same thing, despite their similarities. Any learning activity aimed at acquiring particular information and abilities for the goal of a profession or job is referred to as training.
Objective
1) Determine if training and development improves workers' skills and knowledge.
2) To investigate the impact of staff training and development on performance and productivity.
3) To investigate appropriate training facilities that may aid in improving personnel training and development.
Objective of Training and Development
- Employees work behaviours or attitude must be changed in order for them to perform to specified standards.
- To shorten the hibernation period. This is the time between when an employee is placed and when he or she begins to function successfully.
- To increase each employee's productive capability.
- To increase the organization's effectiveness.
