Introduction

There has been increasing rivalry among organisations and businesses to provide goods and services in a global market during the last several years. Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP) are one of the most essential tools for companies to integrate information and communication technology (ICT) to compete in the global market. These systems can not only plan resources, but they can also combine all units and corporate activities into a single computer system to fulfil all needs. ERP systems use the most up-to-date technologies in the area of information technology to integrate all of an organization's subsystems. ERP installation often costs a lot of money and takes a long time since it necessitates fundamental process changes, which causes friction in most areas of the company and may lead to unfavourable outcomes.

Conclusion

According to the study, there are five key factors in implementing successful ERP in the Institute of Information and Communication Technology: project management, alignment with user needs and product quality, management of organisational change, and following ERP design principles and alignment with the structure . Given that the questionnaire assesses perceptions as opposed to facts, this impression may not be completely accurate. In the research mentioned above, this is accurate. Because the results of this study were developed in collaboration with the Institute of Information and Communication Technology, caution should be used when applying them to other research institutions.
