Service delivery in the hotel industry has improved significantly, and CRM has taken on a new dimension and is gaining momentum in this industry. Most hotel owners/managers in Ludhiana were aware of and practicing CRM, according to the findings from this study. Nevertheless, high/medium-priced hotels practice it more, while low-priced hotels practice it according to their own convenience. Customer satisfaction levels were high for both hotel categories (high/medium tariff and low tariff). But customers of high/medium-priced hotels were happier than those of low-priced hotels. The companies engage in a variety of activities aimed at acquiring new customers, developing existing customers through personalization and customization, and retaining existing customers. Hoteliers can also benefit from CRM practices by boosting customer satisfaction, boosting customer loyalty and keeping customers happy, which leads to increased market share and high guest satisfaction scores.
