MBA HR Project Report on Role of Human Resources Management System (HRMS) in an Organization
Introduction
"A Human Resource Management System is a method for gathering, storing, maintaining, and verifying data on an organization's human resources in a systematic manner. "The relationship between human resource management and information technology is shaped by HRMS. It combines HRM as a discipline, and in particular its fundamental HR activities and procedures, with the area of information technology, while data processing system planning and programming developed into standardized routines and packages of enterprise resource planning[ERP] software. In general, ERP systems are based on software that combines data from many applications into a single universal database. The most significant difference from its independently and proprietary created predecessors is the connection of its financial and human resource modules via a single data base, which makes this programme rigid and flexible.
"HRMS is a useful software programme that allows a company to manage a variety of human resource tasks using just one simple tool." An employer may utilise HRMS to combine all of that data into one simple employee profile system, rather than keeping track of workers' attendance in one database programme and their performance evaluations in another word processing application.
An employer may use HRMS to set up payroll and benefits systems, develop and administer training programmes, and even keep track of performance reviews. This kind of computerized data monitoring makes it much simpler to manage employee requirements and allows workers to concentrate on other tasks. Even if a company has a human resource director, HRMS can help them keep track of their employees' salary, benefits, and performance reviews.
