Staff Motivational and its Impact on Organizational Productivity
Staff Motivational and its Impact on Organizational Productivity
Introduction
Motivation is the internal condition that drives a person to act in a manner that guarantees the achievement of a goal. It may also be described as the condition that guides people toward the aim of fulfilling a perceived desire. The person is moved to take action in order to decrease stress and return to a state of balance.
The topic of this research is employee motivation and its effect on organisational productivity, using a case study of the Kaduna refinery and petrochemical business as a case study (KRPC).
Because productivity is a consequence of employee behavior, a manager's key to improving productivity is to influence this behavior.
THE STUDY'S OBJECTIVES
i. The primary goal of this research is to critically analyze the nature and kinds of incentives provided to the employees of the Kaduna refinery and petrochemical business (KRPC)
ii. To identify the organization's motivational issue.
THE STUDY'S LIMITATIONS
According to the findings of this study, the researcher faced several difficulties while conducting the study. The following are some of the limitations encountered:
FINANCIAL FACTOR: We are financially disadvantaged as a result of the recent increase in our tuition fee, which causes our parents/guardians to strive and see that we are able to register for the new session, so that it could not warrant us to spend more in order to acquire more information for the compilation of the research work both in the area of study and necessary textbooks required.
TIME FACTOR: We are really constrained by period since the time allotted for the project is insufficient for us to gather the necessary particular information for the study. Because the time allotted for projects coincides with the busiest season of study at KRPC, our semester exam and assignment periods also correspond with the time frame.
SECURLY FACTOR: Most significantly, certain essential information required for the project could not be obtained owing to the organization's confidentiality of such information.
