Abstract
Business-to-business (B2B) marketers are increasingly interested in the potential of branding, especially at the corporate level, due to the growth of e-commerce and global competition. It examines the perceived importance of branding to buyers in B2B markets. This was made possible by a literature review and the development of a conceptual model. Branding is important to whom and in what situations, according to the exploratory analysis. Three buyer clusters have been identified: those who are receptive to branding, those who are highly tangible, and those who have little interest.
