Study on Factors Affecting Dealer Performance to Increasing Market Share
Abstract
Any market is influenced by customer satisfaction and trust. Today, it's rare to find a customer who sticks with one brand. However, there are still some cooperative companies that can create a natural monopoly by creating an undivided demand in the market. Clients' faith in it is a major factor. As a result, this project aims to examine MILMA's performance in terms of market share, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, and customer awareness of the homogenization technique, and to determine the factors affecting MILMA's share of the market. As for research methods, we used both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Primary and secondary sources were used to collect data.
Introduction
As the name implies, MILMA stands for milk and a wide range of milk products, which are trusted by every Keralite because of their unsurpassed quality and taste. Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (KCMMF) is the name of a vast organization with units in villages and towns throughout Kerala. A large number of small farmers, including women and the landless, benefit from MILMA's employment and prosperity programmed.
To help people who suffer from lifestyle diseases such as diabetes and obesity, KCMMF has developed a long term health perspective over the years. As a result, MILMA products provide balanced nutrition as well as lower healthcare costs. Milk was not the only beverage launched by the company. "Of, By and For the People" is a fundamental democratic principle. MILMA's primary goal is to provide a true and hassle-free service to the community without incurring losses to the organization.
Conclusion
In spite of being a cooperative organization, MILMA hasn't been able to capture 100 percent of the market. Retail owners are plagued by leakage problems and low commissions. It's for these reasons that new players are entering the market. Another reason for the market's division is that customers are unaware of the homogenization process and believe MILMA milk contains less fat than what is claimed. In addition, customers at tea shops and restaurants prefer high-fat milk, which MILMA does not provide.
MILMA as a milk company has a lot of potential pitfalls. Moreover, the study was able to accurately determine the level of satisfaction of both retail store owners and customers. Despite all of this, MILMA still has a large number of loyal customers who continue to buy from them. According to the study, the majority of customers prefer pure milk over brands and fat content. From all this, we can easily determine how and where MILMA milk's overall market share can be improved.
